Local File Processing

All PDF files are processed entirely in your browser. Your files are never uploaded to, stored on, or transmitted through our servers. When you use any PDFTaco tool, the work happens on your device using client-side JavaScript. We have zero access to the contents of your documents.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how people use the site — things like which tools are most popular, how visitors find us, and general usage patterns. GA4 uses cookies to collect anonymized interaction data. You can opt out at any time by adjusting your browser's cookie settings or by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Contact Form

If you submit the contact form, we store your name, email address, and message in our database solely so we can respond to your inquiry. We do not use this information for marketing or share it with anyone.

API Usage

If you use the PDFTaco developer API, we log your API key, the endpoint used, and the file size of each request for rate limiting and abuse prevention. We do not store the files you process through the API — they are held in memory only for the duration of the request and discarded immediately afterward.

No Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, share, or provide your personal data to third parties. Your information stays with us and is used only for the purposes described in this policy.

Cookies

PDFTaco uses only the cookies set by Google Analytics (GA4) for anonymous usage tracking. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or any other third-party tracking technologies.

Data Retention

Contact form messages are retained for customer support purposes. API usage logs are automatically deleted after 90 days. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' standard data retention settings.
