By accessing or using PDFTaco (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
Service Description
PDFTaco provides free, browser-based PDF processing tools including merging, splitting, compressing, converting, editing, and more. We also offer a developer API for programmatic PDF operations. All browser-based tools process files locally on your device.
No Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We make no guarantees regarding the availability, accuracy, reliability, or completeness of the Service. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
User Responsibility
You are solely responsible for the files you process using PDFTaco and for ensuring you have the right to modify them. You agree not to use the Service for any illegal, unauthorized, or harmful purpose, including but not limited to processing documents you do not have permission to modify or distributing malicious content.
Privacy

API Usage
The PDFTaco API is rate limited to 50 requests per day per API key. You agree not to abuse, overload, or exploit the API beyond its intended use. We reserve the right to revoke API access for any key that violates these limits or engages in abusive behavior.
Intellectual Property
The PDFTaco name, logo, design, and underlying source code are the property of PDFTaco and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the Service without prior written permission.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PDFTaco and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. This includes but is not limited to damages for loss of data, profits, or business opportunities.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
